Professional Summary

Dr. Leister is in private psychological practice and additionally has been responsible for the management and clinical service delivery of Employee Assistance Programs in Central Illinois since 1990 and serves as Regional Director for Creative Care Management.  A graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison, she earned Masters and PhD in Counseling Psychology from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign.  Both her doctoral program and internship at the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Danville, IL are American Psychological Association approved.  Her internship emphasis was in medical psychology, inpatient psychiatry, inpatient and outpatient substance abuse.

With Creative Care Management, Dr. Leister provides account management; clinical services to employees; supervisor training programs; as well as organizational and management consulting.  She has published professional articles and presented workplace and community seminars on Stress Management; Self-esteem; Assertion; Cultural Diversity; Substance Abuse; Sexual Harassment; Conflict Resolution; Supervisor Skill Development; and Team Building.
